Leopards Courier CN Number Format Explained
Definition
CN Number (Consignment Number): A CN number is the unique alphanumeric tracking ID assigned to every Leopards Courier parcel. It starts with GT (standard), FE (express), or TN (e-commerce), followed by 11 digits — for example GT12345678901. The CN number is needed to track any LCS shipment.
Table of Contents
An LCS tracking number, called a Consignment Number (CN), is typically 10 to 12 characters long with a 2-letter city or service prefix followed by digits. You need only this number to track any Leopards Courier shipment. For LCS-PE tracking and other prefix codes, see the prefix table below.
What Is an LCS Tracking Number (CN)?
An LCS tracking number, officially called a Consignment Number (CN), is a unique alphanumeric identifier that Leopards Courier assigns to every shipment at the time of booking. It is your sole tool for tracking a parcel's journey through the LCS delivery network.
CN Number Format
A standard Leopards Courier CN follows this format:
GT7514208669
2-letter prefix + 10 digits = 12 characters total

Where to Find Your LCS Tracking Number
- SMS from Leopards: Sent to the sender's mobile at time of booking, contains the full CN number in the message text
- Email confirmation from seller: All e-commerce sellers send an order dispatch email with the CN prominently displayed
- Physical receipt: If you booked at an LCS Express Center, your receipt has the CN at the top
- Daraz order page: Go to My Orders → Order Details → Shipping Info → Tracking Number
- Shopify order: Check your order confirmation email from the seller, the CN is in the shipment notification
- Package label: The CN is printed as a barcode and plain text on the shipping label attached to the parcel itself
- OLX/Facebook seller: Ask the seller to WhatsApp you the CN after dispatch, it should be on their LCS receipt
How to Verify a Valid LCS CN Number
Before tracking, verify your CN meets these criteria:
- Starts with exactly 2 uppercase letters (no numbers at the start)
- Followed by exactly 10 digits (no letters mixed in the numeric part)
- Total length of 12 characters
- No spaces, dashes, or special characters
- Digit 0 (zero) is not the letter O, and digit 1 is not the letter I or l
Fixing Common CN Number Errors
| Error | Fix |
|---|---|
| No results found | Wait 12–24 hours, tracking may not be active yet |
| "Invalid CN" message | Check length (must be 12 chars) and remove spaces |
| Looks like letters but no tracking | Confirm it starts with 2 letters, not numbers |
| Got partial number from seller | Ask seller to resend, CNs are always 12 characters |
| Letter case issues | Enter prefix in UPPERCASE (GT, not gt) |
LCS Box Number Tracking
When people refer to the "LCS box number", they mean the tracking number (CN) printed on the shipping label attached to the physical box or parcel. This is the same Consignment Number used for online tracking.
You'll find the LCS box number in two places on the package:
- Barcode label: The CN is printed both as a scannable barcode and as plain text below the barcode on the shipping label.
- Handwritten receipt: If booked at an LCS Express Center, the CN may also be written on the attached receipt.
To track using the box number, simply enter the 12-character alphanumeric code (e.g., GT7514208669) into the tracking tool on our homepage.
What Is an "LCS Number"?
The term "LCS number" can refer to two different things:
| Context | What It Means | Format |
|---|---|---|
| LCS Tracking Number | Your shipment's Consignment Number (CN) for tracking | 12 chars: 2 letters + 10 digits (e.g., GT7514208669) |
| LCS Phone Number | Leopards Courier helpline for customer service | +92 (21) 111-300-786 |
If someone asks for your "LCS number" in a delivery context, they mean the CN tracking number.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Instead: Type only letters and numbers with no spaces: GT12345678901
Instead: Your e-commerce order number is different from the CN number — check your SMS or courier slip
Instead: New CNs take 2-4 hours to appear in the system — wait before checking
