LCS COD Tracking, Cash on Delivery Guide

Table of Contents

LCS COD tracking works the same as standard parcel tracking: enter your CN number to see delivery status. The COD amount is remitted to the seller within 3 to 7 business days of successful delivery, minus the 1% COD service fee.

What Is LCS Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Cash on Delivery (COD) is Pakistan's most popular e-commerce payment method, and Leopards Courier operates the country's largest COD network. When a buyer orders with COD, the delivery rider collects payment at the door and remits it back to the seller through LCS's fintech infrastructure.

How to Track an LCS COD Shipment

COD shipments are tracked exactly like regular shipments using the CN number. However, COD tracking has an additional payment layer:

  1. Delivery Status: Track via CN as normal, shows pickup, transit, out for delivery, delivered
  2. COD Collection Status: When delivered, the system records whether COD was collected or refused
  3. Remittance Status: Track when collected COD is processed and credited to your account

Enterprise/dedicated accountPer SLA (often 24–48 hours)

COD funds are transferred to your registered bank account or Easypaisa/JazzCash wallet. Ensure your payment details are current in the LCS portal to avoid remittance delays.

Managing COD Returns (RTO)

When COD delivery fails, buyer not available, wrong address, or buyer refuses, the parcel returns to you (RTO). Key points:

  • No COD is collected for failed/refused deliveries
  • LCS charges a return delivery fee (check your account rate card)
  • High RTO rates (above 15%) may attract additional scrutiny from LCS
  • To reduce RTO: verify buyer phone numbers, confirm orders via WhatsApp before dispatch, use accurate addresses

COD Tips for E-Commerce Sellers

  • Order confirmation: Call or WhatsApp buyers before dispatching COD orders to confirm intent to purchase
  • COD limit: Avoid high-value COD orders (above PKR 10,000) from first-time buyers, prepaid verification reduces risk
  • Reconcile daily: Cross-check LCS delivery confirmations against bank remittances every day to catch discrepancies early
  • Track remittance due dates: Use the LCS portal's remittance calendar to project cash flow
  • Dispute resolution: If COD is marked collected but you didn't receive remittance after 7 days, contact your LCS account manager with the CN and delivery date
