Leopards Courier Tracking Statuses Explained, All Codes
Definition
LCS Tracking Status: An LCS tracking status is a text label that describes where your Leopards Courier parcel is in the delivery process. Status updates only appear when the parcel is scanned at a hub — not during road transit between cities.
Table of Contents
Leopards Courier uses 12 standard tracking status codes. Each status indicates where your parcel is in the delivery pipeline, from initial booking to final delivery or exception handling.
Complete LCS Status Code Reference
Every time your Leopards Courier (LCS) shipment is scanned at a facility or handled by a rider, the tracking status updates. This guide explains every status code you may encounter, what it means, what happens next, and typical timelines.
1. Booked / Shipment Picked
Your shipment has been registered in the Leopards Courier system and collected from the sender. The CN number is now active and trackable. The parcel is at the origin LCS Express Center or facility awaiting its first dispatch to the hub network.
Expected next status: "Dispatched to [City]" within 2–8 hours (same-city) or next business day (intercity).
2. Dispatched to [City Name]
Your parcel has left the origin hub and is being transported to the destination city by road or air. The status displays the destination (e.g., "Dispatched to MULTAN"). During transit between cities, no intermediate scans occur, this is normal. The next update appears when it arrives at the destination hub.
Expected duration: 12–48 hours for major city routes. 2–4 days for remote destinations.
3. Arrived at Facility / Arrived at LCS Hub
The shipment has arrived at a Leopards Courier sorting hub. You may see specific hub codes:
| Status Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Arrived at LCS1 | Primary city hub, main sorting facility |
| Arrived at LCS2 | Secondary distribution center |
| Arrived at LCS3 | Regional sorting facility, most common |
| Arrived at KARACHI HUB | City gateway hub for Karachi |
| Arrived at LAHORE HUB | City gateway hub for Lahore |
At the hub, your parcel is scanned, sorted by delivery zone, and queued for route assignment. Read the full "Arrived at LCS3" guide →
Expected next status: "Out for Delivery" within 4–12 hours (normal) or next morning (if arrived late afternoon).
4. Out for Delivery
A specific delivery rider (field agent) has been assigned your parcel and it is now physically on the delivery vehicle. This is the penultimate status, delivery is imminent.
The rider will typically call the consignee's phone number 30–60 minutes before arrival. Delivery hours are 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Expected duration: 2–8 hours from when this status appears. If delivery fails, status moves to "Exception."
5. Delivered
Your shipment has been successfully delivered to the recipient. The LCS system records:
- Recipient's name
- Date and time of delivery
- Optional: CNIC number and signature (Proof of Delivery)
- For COD shipments: Payment collection confirmation
You will receive an SMS notification confirming delivery with the receiver's name.
6. Exception / Held at Facility
A problem occurred during the delivery attempt. Common reasons:
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
- Recipient not available and phone unreachable
- Delivery refused by recipient
- Area access restrictions (gated community, security zone)
- Damaged packaging requiring inspection before delivery
- Incorrect/missing COD amount information
Action required: Call LCS at +92 (21) 111-300-786 with your CN number. Explain the issue and arrange redelivery or in-person collection at the nearest Express Center.
7. Second Delivery Attempt
After an exception, Leopards Courier makes a second delivery attempt automatically (usually the next business day). If the second attempt also fails, the shipment moves to the final held/return status.
8. Shipment Held at LCS Center
After two failed delivery attempts, the parcel is held at the nearest LCS Express Center for 7 business days. The consignee can:
- Visit the center in person with CNIC and CN number
- Call to arrange a third delivery attempt (discretionary)
- Do nothing, after 7 days, it returns to sender
9. Returned to Sender (RTO)
After the holding period, the shipment begins its return journey to the original sender. The CN number remains active and trackable during the reverse logistics journey. Return transit typically takes 3–7 business days depending on the distance between origin and destination cities.

10. Assigned to Courier
"Assigned to Courier" means a specific delivery rider (field agent) has been assigned your parcel. The rider has physically received your shipment at the hub and will attempt delivery within 4–8 hours. This status is very close to "Out for Delivery" and is a positive sign.
Expected next status: "Out for Delivery" or "Delivered" within 4–8 hours. Read the full "Assigned to Courier" guide →
11. MTD (Mera Time Delivery)
MTD stands for Mera Time Delivery - Leopards Courier's scheduled, time-slot delivery service available in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad. When your tracking shows an MTD status, it means your parcel is being handled under the premium same-day delivery tier with a guaranteed 2–3 hour delivery window.
MTD shipments are prioritized at hubs and skip the standard sorting queue. See MTD delivery windows →
Status Flow Diagram
The typical LCS shipment journey follows this sequence:
Booked → Dispatched → Arrived at Hub → Assigned to Courier → Out for Delivery → Delivered ✓
Exception path: Out for Delivery → Exception → Held → (Redelivery OR) Returned to Sender
